Non-Destructive Testing Services

Inspection of different kinds of welds (fillet, butt, and T-joint), rollings, castings, forgings, and locating internal structure issues by ultrasonic flaw detectors, and angular beam probes with various frequencies as per job specifications and reporting according to international codes and standards.

By ultrasonic thickness measurement equipment, making wall thickness scanning on ships and other pressure vessels, steam boilers of Stations & power plants, atmospheric storage tanks, natural gas pipelines, sea vehicles, etc, and discontinuity locating and reporting.

Radiographic testing, evaluating, reporting, and approving of all types of weld, stainless steels, Gamma-Ray, castings, non-ferrous metals.

Detecting near-surface and remote surface discontinues of welds, forgings, castings, and ferrous materials by magnetic yoke tools and reporting. Testing with fluorescent and day-light visible products is possible. Each product can be used for either dry or wet methods.

Dye Penetrant examinations are the most widely used methods that unhide surface ruptures and other discontinues in non-porous materials (both non-ferrous and ferrous). It is generally used at forgings, automotive parts, pressure vessels, marine maintenance, plant inspections, leak testing, and welds.

If visual inspection of materials or welds is fabricated during or after manufacturing, several discontinuities could be detected without using NDT methods. Visual inspections are documented and performed by our skilled inspectors who are experienced in design codes, welding procedures, and have good site & shop practice. This inspection is performed using equipment like weld gauges, inspection mirrors, feeler gauges, temperature measuring devices, etc.

By vacuum, gas, or liquid systems, tests are performed and reported for identifying leakages in storage tanks, pressure vessels, and pipelines. As per API standards, atmospheric storage tank floors are tested with a vacuum box.

Positive Material Identification (PMI)

DETAY Quality enhances its Non-Destructive Testing offering with Positive Material Identification service. Our on-site inspection and testing team has numerous & highly sophisticated handheld / portable X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) Spectrometers that can measure the chemical composition of the materials, non-destructively and accurately.

Heat Treatment Services

DETAY Quality provides heat treatment services usually as stress relieving of welds and their heat-affected zones with proven heat treatment equipment both in a workshop and on-site conditions. Heat treatment operators follow relevant procedures during work, and all the results, including charts, are recorded as required by applicable procedures.
